Ruth Tolf Ansell has practiced estate planning, estate and trust administration, probate, and related tax planning in New Hampshire since 1981. Ruth graduated from Fordham Law School (JD 1981) and received her Masters Degree in Taxation from Boston University School of Law (LLM Tax 1988). She is a regular speaker on estate planning and administration, and has been awarded the highest rating, AV, by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. Ruth is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and was the state chair for New Hampshire from 1999 through 2004. She was also named a “Lawyer’s Lawyer” by New Hampshire Magazine and included in The Best Lawyers in America. She is a member of the New Hampshire and American Bar Associations and the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council. She was the Treasurer of the New Hampshire Bar Foundation from 2002 through 2007. She was elected to the New Hampshire Bar IOLTA Grants Committee in 2008.  Since 2007, Ruth has been named to the New England Super Lawyers list.  Each year, only 5% of the lawyers in New Hampshire receive this honor.
